For the second week in a row our Miss Conservative of the Week comes to us by way of California. She is currently the director of Media/Public Relations for LPA, Inc which is a green architectural design firm. This weeks Miss Conservative is Rochelle Veturis.

1) Who is your favorite politician? Do Anne Coulter and Dr. Laura count? Okay, fine. Congressman John Campbell.

2) What is the most important issue to you? Fiscal conservatism. If you can balance your budget and live within your means, it demonstrates self control. And self-control usually comes with friends like integrity, honesty, compassion, grace, ingenuity, etc.

3) Ever thought of running for office? Yes, absolutely ... and then I grew up and decided that that kind of stress was not worth it; it's not my calling. Plus, I'd rather be on the support end of politics (stealth promotion via social media, civil discourse, charm etc.)

4) Why are you a conservative? Conservatism makes sense, puts the needs of others first, encourages innovation, unleashes creativity, breathes life into government and gives Americans a sense of pride in and thankfulness for this great country.
