NPR- President Obama took a moment Wednesday to comment on how the nation's capital handles bad weather. He joked about bringing "flinty Chicago toughness" to Washington, D.C.
Now we find out that he cancels press conferences because of... snow
Telegraph- Strange goings on surrounding the programme for the first day of Gordon Brown's visit to Washington.No sooner had the Prime Minister's plane touched down at Andrews Air Force on Monday evening when word was passed to travelling Westminster correspondents that the press conference they'd been told to expect had been called off "because of snow".>
The Brits aren't happy about it either. Good thing he's gotten to work on us being liked by our allies again. Pussy.
