An Open Letter To President Obama

Dear President Obama

First off we would like to congratulate you on your fine public speaking skills. It truly is awe inspiring how well you can read. Second, we heard somewhere recently that you are the first black President. Way to go.

Now, with that being said we have one small suggestion. When it comes to your plans for the economy, could you please shut the hell up. Everytime you open your mouth the dow drops. I haven't seen one person have such a negative impact since T. O played for the Eagles. I know you say you care about Main St and not Wall St. This is commendible. However people on Main St have savings located on Wall St. So please, with all do respect, shut the hell up.

Feel free to talk about what puppy you will be buying or your favorite color. Just stop talking about the economy.

Now, for the record, I love old people. Sure, they shouldn't be driving or telling long stories about their favorite Matlock episode. But this doesn't mean you should wipe out their savings. Do you love old people Mr President? Because we are going to be watching you like a hawk. If you so much as utter the word economy it will prove your deep hatred for everyone with wrinkles.

So in closing, Mr. President, take our sincere recommendation, and shut the hell up.

Regards

The Conservative Comeback

  2. Coltrane, that comment was about as funny as cancer. Why don't you take some time off and try again later

  3. The now hopefully dead conservative movement caused the problems with the economy. It drops every time the president speaks because the parasite corporate capitalists take out more of their money, like rats from a sinking ship. Says a lot about neo-con greed. Don't worry about your comeback, you're done, boy are you guys done.

  5. I go to a conservative blog and what do I find?--two morons in the comments section. These cockroaches are everywhere, and there's something to be said for that. It's also something we conservatives need to combat, so here I am, your friendly conservative blog surfer.

The statistics are out there regarding Obama's uncanny ability to make the Dow drop. Everything that affirmative action retard opens his yap, the Dow drops.

I used to think all liberals were morons. They're not, but they are morons when it comes to politics. These people suffer from a mental illness which prevents them from thinking clearly on political matters, much the same anti-Semitic people cannot be reasoned with when it comes to Jews or Israel.

Oh, and if you meet Obama, tell him "Shut the Fuck Up" from me, too.

    Thanks.

  6. How liberals can believe Conservatism created the financial debacle astounds me.

Less government, lower taxes, personal responsibility... Nope, not recipes for disaster.

Instead look toward coercion of banks by Democrats as the genesis of the debacle.

As for Obama: I agree. Shut the hell up, you damned Socialist!

  7. Why is it libtards feel the need to post their drivel on a conservative site?? Go mingle with the other loons assholes.

  8. Okay I just stumbled onto this site from Twitter (h/t someone on Hot Air).

Thank Christ for the "The Conservative Comeback".

Over this past month, I have not been able to decide if I should laugh or cry.

Now I have reason to laugh with this site and the twitter joeybiden (got all my friends hooked too!)

The CC is my new BFF!

(But ?--how the hell can we log in with our name w/out a web address. Confused on how to leave a comment--just call me joeybiden!

  9. if anyone really thinks the current economic stimulus plan will increase jobs their nuts, we would be better off cutting the fund by 50% and paying it directly to every adult us citizen, than we would see the economy start back up, much of the current plan is BS and won't help anyone, just cal lit what it is, a giant PORK ROLL. When will the dem's realize that the US economy is driven by credit and the US consumer, house value in the toilet, no credit = no consumer pending, no consumer spending = layoffs, this is not rocket science. I would have thought that after JFK proved a tax cut = gains in the economy and Cater's tax increases = a slump one would learn, the problem is the dem's don't care about anything except staying in power.

  10. Hey Lauren

If you just want to use your name I think all you have to do is click on comment as and then select name/url. Just fill your name in and leave the url blank.

  11. Strange how so many of you have to hide behind screen names or anonymous. You all must have something to hide while you are expressing your outrage.

Here's the deal: Most persons who call themselves Republicans in the middle and lower classes are really dumb enough to be mislead by the wealthy and powerful, and quite glib, neo-cons. You should realize that in your gullibility that you are embarrassing yourselves.

    Speaking of embarrassing yourselves:

Smiles. The corporate right is ready to put up a fight? And in the process make the common republican think it has something to do with them.

Big broad grin. Call your names. I've been called worse, rarely does anyone prove me wrong. When I am wrong I'll be the first to admit it. I don't think this is going to be one of those times.

  14. Everyone - can we please all speak with some understanding and thoughtfulness? Venom is the all-too-easy alternative.

I have my political beliefs, and I ordinarily actively express them. However, when I read a tower of comments such as this - where tit-for-tats are the main component of the communication - I tire of what I see.

Thoughtfulness and understanding would make for a more productive community discussion. At least, that's my belief.

  15. @Jack Alexander: You said "The now hopefully dead conservative movement caused the problems with the economy. It drops every time the president speaks because the parasite corporate capitalists take out more of their money, like rats from a sinking ship." Why shouldn't they? It's their money after all. Do you want someone telling you what to do with your money? I think not. If you want people to invest in the market, you don't tax them into oblivion.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Tax them into oblivion? Have you ever looked into the obscene figures for their retirements, home(s) operating costs, how much they hide off-shore? I say make them pay their fare share.

The last Great Depression happened because the working classes weren't paid their fare share of the profits, so they couldn't purchase goods and services, leading to the rich grabbing their precious money and hoarding it, and in those days it was legal to send their money off-shore and not pay taxes.

The same thing is happening right now. People can't afford to purchase goods and services because they aren't being paid equitable wages, thus leading to lay-offs and businesses failing while the wealthy are illegally hiding their money off-shore.

And most of the banks and businesses in the country are owned and/or controlled by four families. Study history and their names will stick out. Today their scions own us because they own everything.

  17. Looks like jack doesn't know jack about economics. I read a great example somewhere else and it makes sense....40,000 people in NY pay about 60 percent of all taxes, the other eight million or so pay the rest. Sure, let's pound those 40k into the dirt and make them leave...which would then bankrupt the city! Here's a thought jack...people are entitled to keep what they EARN, and it's not fair taking away their money and giving it to those who produce nothing yet consume everything. The upshot of that is to drive them off, and then who will pay your exhorbitant taxes? And now the messiah proposes to raise taxes on just about everything that leaves a carbon footprint, and who will that hurt the most? Energy companies...no, they pass the cost on to the consumer, and most of the consumers are those of us down here on the bottom. My last name isn't Pelosi (made millions in oil) or Kennedy (millions from stock manipulation and bootlegging) or Murtha (Mr. Kickback to you,) so once again liberals are raising taxes on the poor and middle class...feel the love! I hope our good friend jack either learns something about how economics work, or at least learns not to shove both his feet in his mouth at the same time...

  18. What a laugh I should learn economics:

    http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=4140641&mesg_id=4140641

This is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg of the four families who own America. They caused the first Great Depression and they are again responsible for the current Depression. And a Depression it is. To hide behind the word 'recession' is the cowardly words of a lackey...
