The Joke Is On Barack

For those of you who have read this blog since its inception 2 months ago, you know that many of the posts are humorous and use sarcasm almost all the time. This isn't one of those posts.

Once again Barack Obama was without his teleprompter, and once again Barack Obama screwed up. Last night he was on with Jay Leno and made his now infamous Special Olympics joke. Whether you find the joke offensive or not, it exposed Obama as the liberal elitist that he is. A man who thinks he is above others, while claiming to be their champions.

I work with special needs kids every day. During the fall we go bowling on Fridays. There is no doubt in my mind that many of these kids would destroy Barack in this sport. There is one difference though between these kids and the President. They wouldn't laugh at him. They wouldn't make fun of him. As a matter of fact, they would cheer for him every time he was lucky enough to knock down a pin, and pat him on the back when he didn't knock down any at all.

We were told during the campaign what a compelling story Barack Obamas life was. How he was born to a single mother and made something of his life. Barack Obama has no clue what it is like to have the deck stacked against him like these kids do. Obamas struggle is a walk in the park compared to these kids. And yet, they are some of the happiest and most thankful kids you will ever meet. They certainly have never played the victimhood game like your wife has, Barack. And yet the man who supposedly inspires hope, chooses to target these kids in order to get a laugh from the audience. It should tell you something about this mans character.

While we are on the subject of Barack Obama and special needs kids, there is one more fact that needs to be pointed out. I have conversations with these kids every day, and not once have any of them needed a teleprompter in order to finish a sentence. The same can't be said for our current President. Who's the real joke?

UPDATE- For the record, I pride myself in being one of the most politically incorrect people out there (not that this has been questioned by anyone). I dont think Obama should resign, like he felt Imus should in 2007, or even be forced to give a half assed apology. I just find it pretty amazing that THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES took the time in the middle of the worst economy since the great depression (his words) to go on a late night talk show and make a joke about special needs kids. Again it says more about him and his priorities.

And now with a hat tip to hotair we have two videos dealing with the special olympics. Little by little the media myth of this man is starting to fall apart.

  1. I agree we should call for his resignation!

  2. Dude, very well said.

I follow your tweets, and even pop over here once in a while. You just go ahead and be as politically incorrect as you like.

  3. Thanks Jason. Im going to keep doing that. Thanks for checking in on the blog

  4. I agree with Jason. I'm a huge fan of yours on Twitter -- you make my day and your blogs are even better. This one though, gave me chills. You are hysterically funny and politically incorrect, yet you validate all that you do with post like this one... Well done!

  5. Thanks Jill. I appreciate that. I enjoy following you on twitter as well.
