Media Double Standard???

Listen, I'm not one to hop all over a politicans family. If the last 7 months had never happened I would let this story on Joe Bidens daughter slide. As a matter of fact, I'm not even going to cover it. I am, however, going to watch how the media covers it. The media put it all on the line during the campiagn. As we have seen with Bristol Palin, politicians family members personal lives are not off limits.

Can you imagine the media coverage if there was a tape of Bristol Palin allegedly sniffing lines of coke out there? It would get more coverage than if a nuclear bomb went off. And I don't want to hear anything about how Palins daughter reflected hypocrisy on the family values issue. Joe Biden was the man who came up with the drug czar term and has actively fought for a tougher war on drugs.

The media is once again on notice. This is what happens when you go after the 18 yr old daughter of a Republican politician. You have to do the same for a Democrat. We'll be watching.

If you choose not to cover this, fine. But just remember that the next time you have a story on anything having to do with Sarah Palins kids.
