Gingrich: US At Greater Risk Of Attack Under Obama

To be honest I dont know if Politico is trying to make a controversy out of this statement or simply just giving it their top spot.

The U.S. is at greater risk of terrorist attack because of the Obama administration's actions, Newt Gingrich said Monday.

In a chat with POLITICO readers, Gingrich also called the administration’s response to the North Korean missile launch a “vivid demonstration of weakness in foreign policy.” He said Obama’s proposals for a resumption of nuclear arms limitation talks reflected “a dangerous fantasy that runs an enormous risk. ... Not since Jimmy Carter have we had an administration this out of touch with reality.” “Dick Cheney is clearly right in saying that between the court decisions about terrorists and the administration actions, the United States is running greater risks of getting attacked than we were under President Bush,” said the former speaker of the House and Georgia congressman.

Now it will be interesting to see what the media and liberals do with this statement. As Jim Treacher points out on his twitter page, "it was fine when Biden said it."

Let's not forget it was the current VP who said that the world will test this man. Is this test supposed to make us safer? Certainly none of the actions Obama has taken as President has made us safer. His response to North Korea was that of a 4th grade student trying to please his teacher with a no more nukes on this planet answer. That will teach Kim Jong Il. Closing Gitmo is going to make us safer? Putting Leon Panetta, a man with zero intelligence experience, at the head of CIA is making us safer?

Newt Gingrich, Dick Cheney, and Joe Biden were absolutely right. Barack Obama has put this country at a greater risk. But atleast we wont be dismissive.
